Pedro Rizzo

Former PRIDE heavyweight kingpin Fedor Emelianenko returns to the ring for the first time this year when he meets three-time UFC title challenger Pedro “The Rock” Rizzo. Emelianenko, once the sport's pound-for-pound best, looks to run his current win streak to three since suffering a trio of losses under the Strikeforce banner.

Affliction: Banned was a mixed martial arts event co-promoted by Affliction Clothing and Adrenaline MMA.[2] It took place on July 19, 2008 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The card featured many of the top MMA heavyweight fighters. The main event was the return of PRIDE World Heavyweight Championship Fedor Emelianenko fighting against former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia. The event also saw fights between former UFC Heavyweight Champions Andrei Arlovski and Ben Rothwell, Josh Barnett took on Pedro Rizzo, and former UFC Light-heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort fought Terry Martin. Former UFC standout Matt Lindland and former Pride FC standout Antônio Rogério Nogueira also competed.

Pride 31: Unbreakable (promoted in Japan as Dreamers) was a mixed martial arts event held by Pride Fighting Championships on February 26, 2006 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. It was also the first Pride pay-per-view event of 2006.

Pride Critical Countdown 3 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Pride Fighting Championships. This event held the second round of the Pride Middleweight tournament. It took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on June 26th, 2005.

UFC 41: Onslaught was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. UFC 41 featured two championship bouts, a Heavyweight Championship Bout between Ricco Rodriguez and Tim Sylvia, and a Lightweight Championship Bout between BJ Penn and Caol Uno. The event also marked the return of Tank Abbott to the UFC

UFC 39: The Warriors Return was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on September 27, 2002, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The event was broadcast live on pay per view in the United States, and was the first UFC event to be released on DVD.
