Documentary about the technical achievements of the 1940 film classic The Thief of Bagdad.

A tiger escapes from a circus truck as it passes by a small town, and hides itself in the surrounding woods. This throws the town into a panic and everyone wants the animal killed immediately, except for the daughter of the sheriff. She wants to capture the tiger and put it in a zoo, thereby saving the tiger's life. Her determination starts a nationwide campaign among children to raise the money to buy the tiger from the circus, but first, she, her father and an Indian tiger trainer must find the tiger before the National Guard do, who have orders to kill it on sight.

Karin then goes after the thieves, supported by Lundstrom. But he also has his own goals. The hunt takes them around the world. It soon turns out that a certain Madame Latour is behind the sinister machinations. Eventually old Johanson falls into her hands. In Southeast Asia, a showdown ensues between the kidnappers and Lundstrom and Karin.

Young Sabu is a happy stable boy in the kingdom of Samukan, in charge of taking care of the Caliph's elephant. Searching for a lost diamond, he finds instead a mysterious ring which, unbeknownst to Sabu, conjures up a genie when he rubs it.

Jungle natives are treated by a physician who goes against the wishes of a witch doctor to provide burn healing methods caused by radioactive rocks discovered when the elephants were felling trees.

Principal scenes from this kids' film, minus all shots featuring Sabu, were also used in the semi-adult film "Untamed Mistress", made and released by the same people in the same year.
