In a working-class neighborhood in Rome, a barber bothers his customers and neighbors with conspiracy theories he reads online. At home and in his small community nobody takes him seriously, especially when he convinces himself that streetlights send secret signals via Morse code. Yet, when the police arrive at his door and arrest him in front of his family, his credibility takes an unexpected twist.

A mysterious wrongdoing shakes the life of Castelrotto, a small Apennine village that has always been off the news... and history. Ottone, a former local journalist and retired elementary school teacher, takes advantage of the incident to pick up the pen again and seek revenge for an old injustice suffered. His plan is clear: manipulate the narrative of the new crime to accuse the men who ruined his life.

However, after one month, the restaurant went bankrupt and he chose to emigrate to Africa to escape from debt. Here he adapts to being a waiter in a resort in Kenya, but at the outbreak of a civil war he decides to embark on a stowaway trip on a boat for migrants to Europe and chooses to do it with his African friends. However, he would not like to return to Italy, but rather to go to Liechtenstein where banking secrecy is in force and there is a lower tax burden than in Italy.

Greta is forced to accompany her newly separated mother to a party. For the first time, she will see her as a lonely woman, rather than just a mother.
