Leo Paulsen hires Oscar, who lives south of the border, to drive a transit load to Sweden. Oscar is stopped by customs and arrested. Leo seeks out his boss, Otto Hermansen, who explains that he can help Leo if Leo takes the blame for him—in exchange, Leo is offered a job in Jutland after his release. When Leo is released, Otto wants nothing to do with him: there is no job waiting for him. Together with his uncle, Mads, and the young office lady Ida, Leo plans revenge on Otto Hermansen.

What would you do if you found 20,000 Danish kroner? Just like that? In a woman's purse? And what if no one was looking for it? In other words, if you had the chance to pocket 20,000 Danish kroner, tax-free? Wouldn't you be tempted? The main character in this film is tempted. He is a taxi driver and has a happy family life, but he is struggling financially.

Finn and Claus are best friends and both have a thing for their cute friend Eva. They both go to Copenhagen to study law but Claus would rather study music/piano and takes private lessons and Finn isn't the academic type. Who gets Eva?

An everyday story about a single father with four children, whose eldest daughter, Søs, runs the household. Søs occasionally goes into town with Peter. In connection with Ole's schooling, she comes into contact with his teacher, Jørgen Stæhr. Gradually, love develops between them, especially after Søs and Jørgen participate together in Children's Aid Day. Uncle Anders is a frequent guest in the house, and the neighbor, Mrs. Sejersen, often visits under various pretexts.

Theodor Nielsen lives a peaceful life with his adult daughter Eva. Then the weather vane on the nearby church tower starts squeaking every night. A train pulls into Copenhagen Central Station, and 16-year-old Dorte gets off. She needs to find some people on a road somewhere near Svanemøllen. Here, in a beautiful villa, lives Asger Haensen, a director who runs a large company in Copenhagen. He lives with his two children, Margot and Steen. Asger Haensen lives a superficial and overly expensive life—among other things, he has an expensive girlfriend. In the evening, the doorbell rings at the director's house. Outside stands Dorte with a letter that must be delivered to him personally. The letter reveals that Dorte is the result of a small youthful mistake on the part of the director. So Dorte stays in the house. Dorte does not quite fit into the elegant home. But she is feisty—and brings life to the house!

After World War II, Europe lies in ruins and help is desperately needed everywhere. One person trying to make a difference is Dr. Jørgen Vedel, who travels with the Red Cross to Vienna to vaccinate children. There he meets Leni, a girl who has been to Auschwitz, where she lost her mother. Jørgen arranges for Leni to come to Denmark, where she can start a whole new life.

The year is 1946. Dr. Bertil Burman works at a Red Cross Hospital in Vienna. One day, a barely teenage girl, Leni Rosner, collapses at his reception.

Honor, morality and the "right" outlook on life are paramount. And these concepts were by no means something to be made fun of, which can be somewhat annoying when you remember that this film is based on the English play "Bank Holiday", which took a good English fart on virtues and morality. Inger Holst is a nursing student who, at a party, meets the unreal Jørgen Frandsen, who invites her to a "festive night" one weekend at a hotel in Tisvilde. However, a tragic incident occurs at the hospital where she works. The incident involves the young widower, engineer Berg, whom she has come to know as a fine, real and sympathetic person. Inger's compassion makes her offer to give up her weekend trip and stay with him.
