Ryuji (Koji Matoba), the leader of the Sasaki Mutsumi Federation's shadow assassination group "Special Senior Purge Team", belongs to the former Russian Army Special Forces, and was ordered by President Kenzaki (Masataka Naruse) from Tokyo and Kansai. In Order To protect Kanagawa from threats, he works daily with former doctor Kotora (Kazuyoshi Ozawa) and former power man Inoyama (Kensuke Sasaki).

The Harimaya Bridge is a drama about an American man who must travel to rural Japan to claim some important items belonging to his late son, from whom he was estranged. While there, he learns several secrets his son left behind.
