Abhiram is an ad filmmaker and his sister sets him on a trip to Araku Valley with an expectation of hooking him up with her fiance's sister Sruthi. She lives in Araku Valley and Abhi comes there with her sister's words. He meets Abhinaya and he falls for her as they share their past love stories with each other when they both are together. They are happy in love but the expectations of Abhiram on his girlfriend are not met by her, he disappoints. What happens next is crux of the story.

Independent spirited Sasirekha (Genelia) is ordered by her father to get married to an NRI groom. When the groom’s father demands dowry on the wedding day, she runs away from her marriage. Soon after she ran way, she runs in to Anand (Tarun). They bond well during their acquaintance and the rest of the movie is about how she falls in love with Anand. As it turns out, Anand was the one she was supposed to marry, but due to certain events, the wedding party leaves without him. Sasirekha was to see a video of the groom and his house, but stamps on it, declaring she doesn't want to get married.

Remake of Hindi Hit Bunty Aur Babli. The story begins when Ramu, having ditched yet another job interview, coming home to his angry father. His father berates him, and in the process, Ramu reveals that he does not want an "Udyogam", rather, he want to do "vyapaaram" (he wants to do business rather than have a job).
