A group of actors descends into the Negev to film a rock opera about the wilderness of David and Goliath. The film has a low budget, and the actors are forced to compromise on improvised solutions and protect their honor.

A beautiful young woman moves to Tel Aviv, the big city, falls in love with a married man and does not relate to the nice postal clerk who secretly loves her.

In the easy-going, sexually-liberated 1970's Tel Aviv, three young friends, struggling filmmaker Nati, his impressionable girlfriend Ossi and his geeky friend Mushon, move in together in a small apartment in Dizengoff Street number 99. By day, they work a boring desk office job but by night the city is their playground. Their overall goal is to make their way into the commercial movie making business, but harsh realities and romances often sidetrack them. Their fourth friend and Nati's older other girlfriend is aspiring musician, Miri.

The movie, set in the Israeli 1969 War of Attrition, tells the story of a prestigious military band, and the tensions and ego crises new band members cause when joining the band. Will the band survive?
