In the summer of 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, thousands of cans of marijuana mysteriously wash up on the city's beaches, sparking a scramble for this unexpected "green gold." To investigate the case, Detective Dantas pairs up two federal agents with opposing temperaments: Sandra, a street-smart cop with a gambling addiction, and Brasa, a stickler for protocol who has never made an arrest. Surrounded by drug traffickers, corrupt cops, journalists, and opportunists, the duo must overcome their differences before chaos engulfs the coast.

This actor and director are credited with more than sixty television titles, seventy movies and twenty plays. Known from classic full-length features like Macunaíma, They Don't Wear Black Tie and Kiss of the Spider Woman, his dramatic versatility also encompasses major Brazilian soap operas, including O Bem Amado and Roque Santeiro. With his talent, he overcame barriers faced by many Black performers in Brazil. An active on-screen and on-stage presence since the 1950s, his name is synonymous with the history of Brazilian television, theatre and cinema, making him a landmark talent in the performing arts world.

At 45 years old, architect Ulisses—feeling lost in his career and unconvinced of his talents—visits a "vocational coach" who promises to find his true vocation. After drinking a suspicious tea in the coach’s crazy ritual, Ulisses blacks out and awakes to find his belongings stolen. Mysteriously, Ulisses also comes away with a strange power: the ability to see people's true vocations by just touching them. Will Ulisses be able to handle his new gift?
