Periya Karuppu Thevar

Pettaikaaran is famous in his town for an impeccable track record of successes in rooster fights. When one of his aides, Karuppu, goes against his word in a fight, it leads to an enmity between them.

A man comes to Chennai with a mission to find his brother, who had run away from his house about two decades ago. But a series of events make them both a part of unexpected happenings.

Based in Mumbai, Raja (Arjun) lives a violent yet poor lifestyle along with his father, Banwarilal. He meets with and comes to the rescue of Madurai/Mahendrapur-based belle, Mahalakshmi/Madhumita (Jyotika), and both fall in love with each other. When she returns home, her dad (Ashish Vidyarthi) finds that she is in love with Raja, instantly approves of him, and asks her to invite him, which she does. Raja accordingly arrives to meet her family - and it is this arrival that will pit him against goons dispatched by none other than Mahalakshmi's dad, who wants him dead - at any and all costs.

Kasi (Arjun) comes to Mumbai to track his parents' killers. He is successful in finding the first two. In order to find the third one he joins a goon Ravi Bhai (Raj Kapoor). This Ravi Bhai is in loggerheads with his own brother, Mani Bhai (Fefsi Vijayn). Mani Bhai runs another gang and the leading goonda in this gang is Siva (Jagapati Babu). Once upon a time in some Jail, Siva and Kasi were good friends. But now they are thirsty for each other's blood. They unite finally when their loved ones are killed.They plot to kill sivas brother by killing vedhika and divert Arjun. Arjun and Vedhika die in the end.

After receiving severe punishment from his father, the eldest son of a family runs away. Several years later, he returns back home with a feeling of remorse.

Creepy happenings in an abandoned mansion are attributed to the ghost of an ancient courtesan, back for revenge.

Angela, a civil advocate interviewing inmates at the Madras Central Prison for a documentary on the death penalty meets Virumaandi and Kothaala, who are sentenced to death and life respectively for their roles in perpetrating the massacre of 24 people during a brutal clash between feuding villages. As tensions mount within the prison walls, she listens to their conflicting accounts of the same story.

Sivaraman belongs to a low caste and is a cobbler by profession. He was orphaned as a little boy and has since been brought up by a couple belonging to the lower caste. A trip to the 'agraharam' brings back memories of his childhood and he realises that he is in fact a Brahmin and the son of the head priest at the temple. Wishing to help his real family while at the same time unable to forget the parents who adopted him, he shuffles between the two vastly different worlds. Maheswar, a lower caste woman, waits for him back home while Gayatri falls in love with him in his new life.

Thayama gets money from a landlord in order to save her husband and promises to give her child in return. Things turn for the worst when the rich man wants to marry off his daughter to Thayama's son.
