After a tragic miscarriage, Nimet -a middle aged woman- gets stuck in the conservative society in Istanbul while her beloved younger sister Öznur carries a burden of her own in the family, trying to struggle her own demons.

Ali is someone who suffered great destructions in his life when he was only seven years old. His mother’s death by falling into well and murder of his father by Ihsan had inflicted deep wounds on him. Ali goes to kill Ihsan and Ihsan makes an unusual offer to this unexpected guest. He asks for seven days. Life, conscience, pressures, friendship, masculinity, and regrets are questioned in these seven days they spend together.

Kaan, who volunteers at the Dreams Academy, where disabled children receive education, lives in Kaş with his brother. When the director of the academy finds himself in trouble due to his debt, he and his friends who come to the city on holiday try to protect the academy against the danger of closure.

Beste (13), whose father is a veterinarian and grew up with horses, resists the new boss's decision to close the farm. In the process of selling the horses one by one, Beste's mother and father decide to leave. A very difficult process begins for the thirteen-year-old girl with the sale of her favorite horse, Turagay, on the one hand, and the disintegration of her family, on the other.

The patriarch and devout father Abdullah has been living in Zurich with his wife Emine and their children for years. Their eldest son Kadir and their daughter Elif are doing well in the Western world. The youngest son, Burak, is gradually becoming radicalized without really realizing it. Abdullah is initially impressed, but then Burak sets off on a "holy war." His father travels to the Turkish-Syrian border region to rescue his son.

The mid 90’s. Turkey’s political instability, inflation and hopelesness on people were increased. In those years when all hope was lost, people deeply bond with Bold Pilot and Halis Karataş who win every race coming from the last place. People see themselves at the point where this horse and jockey are: at the back. This duo make people to believe that everybody can win. The race ends at the finish line and the first to cross this line are Bold Pilot and Halis riding it.

May 22nd, 1963. Unhappy with the existing social and political situation in Turkey, a group of military officers has planned a coup d’état to take down the government in Ankara. Meanwhile in Istanbul, their conspirators have undertaken the vital mission of taking over the National Radio station and making a formal announcement about the coup. But nothing goes to plan. Faced with a number of obstacles, including a sudden rainstorm, the absence of the radio station technician, a betrayal, the lack of feedback from Ankara and their very own inefficiency, the conspirators scramble to keep their plan on track and announce the success of the coup – that is, if the coup in the capital has taken place at all.
