Romy is a French DJ touring the sun-bleached and club-lit Canary Islands, until her friend vanishes. Met with evasion from locals and the authorities, her search leads her to a magnetic stranger and the sinister proprietors of an exotic animal sanctuary.

Three years after a young girl’s disappearance during a trip to Norway, her passport resurfaces in Greenland. Without telling anyone, her 17-year-old sister embarks on a quest to solve the mystery of her disappearance. Torn between the hope of finding their first daughter and the fear of losing their second, her parents, though separated, set off together for Greenland.

Set in a hamlet in rural France, the story follows a man and his wife, their daughter and an artist neighbor. As the man plans a surprise for his wife’s birthday, inexplicable happenings begin to disrupt the hamlet’s quiet existence before turning into a nightmarish chain of events when night falls.

This impossible quest forces him to push beyond his limits, turning his capacity to dream into his greatest strength...
