After a drastic experience, Nina takes some time out on an island in northern Germany to be away from work and her husband Patrick. She meets the charming and mysterious Daniel, who immediately captivates her. At first she fights her desire, but soon the two become increasingly entangled in a web of eroticism, lust and secrets.

Daniel is a singer who became famous overnight thanks to one song. But for the aspiring artist, the dream of fame was short-lived: his song turned out to be a one-hit wonder, and Daniel fell into a deep depression when his subsequent songs failed to connect with audiences. Daniel soon finds himself with few options left – he wants to end his life. However, his suicide attempt fails and he ends up in a secure psychiatric ward. He is allowed to leave on one condition: he must use his music to make a group of depressed people happy.

Without further ado, they invite Leon's parents Viktor (Maximilian Grill) and Monika Popow (Josefine Preuss) to their spacious architect-designed house for dinner. While the rich Fabers are still thinking about a considerate, understated style of clothing, Viktor and the cashier Monika arrive on their motorbikes already dressed up - in a fighting mood. The evening takes an unpredictable course with increasing dynamics and in view of the adolescent behavior of the unleashed parents.

Franka Eyckner is in Malta on business. As the controller of a language school, she wants to get the principal on track. But the man is a real challenge. John sincerely vows to do better, but there's no sign of real change! It's a good thing there's also Till. The smart craftsman sees into Franka's soul and responds to her sensitively. Unfortunately, Franka is not the only woman who understands Till so well. Franka comes to Valletta to train John, the new head of the language school there. He is to use the sophisticated learning system that is the basis for the success of "Talk to Me", a global language school for which Franka works. But John, a bon vivant, humorously lets Franka down.

When Ulja (12) is prevented from pursuing her passion, astronomy, she decides to take matters into her own hands. With a stolen hearse and a 13-year-old classmate as a driver, she makes her way across Eastern Europe to watch the impact of an asteroid. In doing so, she not only has to shake off her persecutors, but also her pragmatic view of friendship and family.
