The event featured a series of matches, including a main event where ROH World Champion Bandido defended his title against CMLL's Mascara Dorada. Additionally, there were matches featuring The Don Callis Family against CMLL, the CMLL Tag Team titles being defended, and singles matches between Hologram and Neon, Josh Alexander and Atlantis Jr., and Red Velvet and Persephone.

The 2025 Fantastica Mexico event, also promoted as CMLL Presenta NJPW Fantastica Mania México 2025 was the third annual Fantastica Mania: Mexico professional wrestling event. It was produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and also featured wrestlers from partner promotions New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Ring of Honor (ROH) and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro). The event took place on June 20, 2025 at the Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico and was the 17th edition of the Fantastica Mania event series, third to take place in Mexico, and the first to involve AEW and ROH – as part of a week-long collaboration between the three promotions – and RevPro.

AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door - Zero Hour served as the pre-show to the larger AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2025 pay-per-view (PPV) featuring a collaboration between All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

The 2024 Worlds End was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was the second annual Worlds End and took place on December 28, 2024, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. Eleven matches were contested at the event, including three on the "Zero Hour" pre-show. In the main event, Jon Moxley fought Orange Cassidy, "Hangman" Adam Page, and Jay White in a four-way match for the AEW World Championship. In other prominent matches, Mercedes Moné faced off against Kris Statlander to for the AEW TBS Championship and Kazuchika Okada faced Will Ospreay to in the finals of the Continental Classic.
