Elisabeth, an actress, leads writing workshops at Necker Hospital with teenagers experiencing severe psychological distress. Through her interactions with them, she revisits her own story: her institutionalization at age 14. Little by little, the memories resurface. And with them, the discovery of theater, which one day saved her.

Jean Valjean is released from prison after nineteen years of hard labor, violence, and suffering. Filled with anger and a deep sense of injustice, he has become a dangerous man who trusts no one and nothing. When he arrives in a small village in Provence, he is repeatedly turned away. Desperate, he unknowingly finds refuge at the house of Bishop Bienvenu, who lives simply, with his sister and a single servant. There, he is surprised by their warm welcome, and his inner demons start to waver. But the temptation to be what society sees in him still haunts him, and he steals the Bishop’s silverware. When the police ultimately catches him, the Bishop forgives him and gifts him the candlesticks. This acts becomes the starting point of Jean Valjean’ transformation into a new man who reclaims his humanity.

Alexandre Varda, a powerful property developer of Greek origin, finds his life suddenly turned upside down. On the same day, he is sacked by his sharhold- ers and learns of the death of his daughter, whom he has not seen for 12 years. When he arrives in Greece the next day to repatriate the body, he also discovers that he is the grandfather of a 9-year-old boy with autistic syndrome...

After 25 years together, married life has taken its toll on Xavier and Sophie, so when Sophie decides to invite their neighbours over for dinner, Xavier is less than enthusiastic to say the least! He can’t stand how obviously still in love they are and their lack of discretion… especially at night! On coming face-to-face with the uninhibited couple, Xavier and Sophie will be forced to confront their own, sad reality, before finding themselves pushed into a corner by a somewhat… indecent proposal.

While dealing with a controversy that has tarnished his image, Philippe Lamarck, a brilliant Michelin-starred chef with a complicated personality, walks through the doors of La Belle Étincelle restaurant to take charge of the kitchen. What he doesn't know is that this restaurant is unlike any other. Virginie, the manager, has set up an inclusive restaurant and hired only young people with cognitive disabilities so that her son Noé, who has autism, can fulfill his dream of becoming a chef.

Hortense has a big heart and no one to share it with except her cat, her embittered mom, and a group of homeless people for whom she prepares a gourmet dinner at the local church every week. While buying a nice bottle of wine, Hortense meets Jacques, a fifty-something, grumpy local cellarman. Eager to see him again, she attends a chaotic wine tasting in Jacques’ shop - meeting his best friend who clumsily tries to seduce her, and his new apprentice who turns out to have a rare gift for tasting as well as an unfiltered honesty. As Hortense and Jacques grow closer and closer, their past begins to catch up to them.

When comedians draw on the family to make people laugh, everyone is concerned. This documentary looks at everything that is horrifying or hilarious in the family: from the "new generation" fathers to the dictates of the perfect mother, as well as the taboos of parenthood, unmanageable teenagers, and unbearable mothers-in-law.
