The originality of the show lies in the gap between the narrative provided by the voice-over (omnipresent) and the visible, concrete actions played on stage by the characters in an almost silent film: their play, sometimes very poetic, transcends narration. In 1958 in Paris, during the Algerian War, a young trainee lawyer, Maître Chabrier, was assigned to defend an Algerian garbage collector against paratroopers who had beaten him. In this drama, a provincial girl goes to Paris in search of her fortune.
