Afro-Brazilian poet and politician, the legendary Carlos Marighella. Driven to fight against the erosion of civil and human rights following the CIA-backed military coup of 1964 and the brutal, racist right-wing dictatorship that followed, the revolutionary leaves behind his wife and son to take up arms, becoming a notorious enemy to the power structure.

In an arid, remote place, three people live monotonous lives: every day, while the woman feeds the animals and does the laundry, the man of the house and his field hand plow the land. But when an unexpected event breaks that routine, the oppression and cruelty will manifest unfettered.

The story revolves around Rubem, who inherits an old motel from his uncle, a property he believes to be abandoned. Upon arriving at the property, he finds Grace, a former employee of the establishment, who lives in the closed property. To pay off their debts, they decide to reopen the “Motel Pérola”, but with the help of Nalva, they develop a plan involving cyber pornography. From then on, they will have to do everything they can to ensure that the secret hidden in the motel rooms is not discovered.
