On the evening of 21 November 1974, the Provisional Irish Republic of Army carried out a terrorist attack in Birmingham (UK). It was recognised as the bloodiest attack in the Troubles England. This short film tells the “behind the scenes” of this attack, which hides a series of mistakes, delays and frictions within the same terrorist cell responsible for it.

A disconsolate man draws comparisons to this when he struggles to write a suicide note for his parents. Through a melancholy yet humorous monologue, he criticises and provides observations on contemporary Irish youth culture.

William of Orangedale is a coming-of-age comedy about teenager William, who has cerebral palsy, and his friends growing up on a council estate in East Belfast and the shenanigans that they get up to.
