After a heated argument between the two family members, NOBU gets injured, and cannot save the island anymore. He asks his daughter to flee. Anya refuses, sacrifices herself to ring the gong in a last attempt to save her father. She ends up in a crystal cave and transforms into Baovelanh. The creature then freezes the lava and saves the island.
