Hugo brings his nephew to the selection of one of the major football clubs in Buenos Aires. This is part of an illegal deal that will allow Hugo to start a new life in the big city.

Gabriel has been separated for four years now. Since then his 8 year old daughter is the center of his life. Completely avoiding getting involved in a new romantic relationship, Gabriel focus all his energy in his daughter and work. This plan gets spoiled when Vicky, a platonic love from his adolescence, now a beautiful and independent woman appears in his life. When romance is about to start, she puts one condition: She would never get involved with a man with children. She just does not want children in her life. When Gabriel is confronted with this, he says he has no children. From that moment on his life becomes a torment, playing every trick at hand in order to hide his child and belongings from Vicky in every date.

Two single men in their late forties spend regular weekends in a semi-derelict house on the Paraná river delta near Buenos Aires. However, when a girl asks for shelter from a storm, both men are forced to re-evaluate their lives and their friendship.

An Argentine photographer, correspondent in the war in the former Yugoslavia, who is fired in 2002 for refusing to fire colleagues at a TV channel, keeps his compensation in a bank in Buenos Aires and looks for work. Suddenly, “el corralito” appears and, despite a law approved in Congress, the Government does not respect it and negotiates with the money from savers. Given this, the photographer surrounds his body with sticks of dynamite, goes to the bank where he has his $150,000 and threatens to blow up everyone who is there if they don't give him theirs. When he is released from prison, he flees and seeks refuge where he was born and raised 35 years ago. There he meets his best friend, who helps him defend his life.
