A vile and corrupt martial artist takes over a temple during a famine in Southern China. He enslaves all the people and forces the girls into prostitution. His evil plan is destroyed, thanks to two disciples from the Magic Kick School of Kung Fu.

In one of her first film appearances Yukari plays an undercover Japanese criminal police officer investigating the gang led by Yamashita (Yasuaki Kurata). As in most of these Taiwanese films, slapstick comedy alternates with intense action. An absurd plot has something to do with missing bullion and a treasure map. Yamashita’s gang wants it, and so do an unlikely band of heroes, including an incompetent traffic cop, his cop wannabe girl friend, and a couple of card sharks who have teamed up with an infatuated gas station owner. Some of Taiwan’s best action actors provide excellent kung fu action.

A Taoist priest is ordered to find a Cherry Boy to appease his temple's ancestors. The boy in question is a young man who lives with his grandmother, trying to protect a sacred writ from a bright red, snarling bad guy. And let's just say insanity follows!

Taiwanese Kung Fu actor Yip Fei, (Snuff Bottle Connection) stars in this superb swordplay film from Taiwan. A swordsman known for his flute playing style: dispatches his foes in the bloodiest of ways.

Shaw Brothers superstar Chi Kuan Chun (Drunk Monkey, Men from the Monastery) wrote, directed and stars in the remake of the Shaw epic Disciple Of Shaolin. In this version he plays the part originally taken by Alexander Fu Sheng, wherein his kung fu skills take him to the heights of the gangster world. Following him is his buddy Jimmy Lee (Hot, Cool, Vicious, Eagles Claw) who fights alongside the man known as The Big Rascal!

The girlfriend of a con-man is being held in a brothel and he must try to raise 200 tales of gold as a dowry. So he cheats a country simpleton out of his money then goes and loses it in the casino resulting in the country man feeling sorry for him. The two become friends and as they are both expert fighters start working as instructors for a local big boss but this causes real trouble.
