Lee Hong Kum

Notorious bandit Wong Choi-fat, already retired, loses his prized Imperial Lady Mirror on the gambling table to Chin Yik-tung. But the treasure is stolen by a cat burglar a day before the new owner claims it. Wong’s daughter Ka-yuk (Josephine Siao) suggests replacing it with a fake one. Now they need to steal the fake one before their ruse is discovered.

Lee Kei-hau is happily married with a son. His wife Wong Tai-chu, who has been complaining of discomfort lately, goes to see a doctor where her friend Wong Mau works as an assistant. Wong mixes up her report with that of a cancer patient. Believing her days are numbered, Tai-chu discusses with her mother to choose a second wife for Lee and finds the nurse So Lin-yung, Mau's girlfriend. Mau feels obligated to adhere to her request to hire So as family nurse. Lee urges his wife to make regular exercise a habit to improve her health but when his advice falls on deaf ears, he spurs her to action by dating the nurse. Infuriated by his wife's unexpected exhilaration, Lee accuses her of having an affair with Mau. Tai-chu retaliates by displaying great affection towards a man, her girlfriend Judy in disguise. Lee chases after the beau relentlessly and is told the truth by Judy. Mau's blunder is patched up with a smile, for his lover So, and for the reconciled couple Tai-chu and Lee.

Dirt-poor painter But Ka-sing lives under the same roof with Tang Chan-sin and Lee Tai-hak. Smitten with Tse Mei-chen, the penniless suitor resorts to staging a suicide and makes a fortune of his paintings which are sold at sky-high prices after his feigned death. Reinventing himself as a doctor, But competes with the rich heir Fung Chak-chak to win Tse's heart with an avalanche of gifts and money. However, Tse rejects the suit of the philistine. But gives up his windfall and tells the truth at his memorial exhibition. Thrilled, Tse pledges her love and marries the painter, for better and for worse.

Kwok Sau-yuk fails to ward off the advances of Scholar Four Poisons while mourning the murder of her husband. Master Chung comes to help and asks Kwok's son Chan Lam to look for his daughter Siu-chui before dying. Hurled into the Blood Pool, Chan chances on Ng Yau-nin, a victim of the intrigue hatched by his wife Ho Yim-wah and her lover Oh Yu-kan. Ng bequeaths to Chan a sword, and the Book of Blood Devil Moves unearthed from the cave and entrusts his daughter Yu-ying to his care. Having mastered the art, Chan emerges from the abyssal waters and becomes the 'Little God of Hades.' He is soon kept under lock and key by Oh who wants the Book of the Yellow Emperor. Treating Chan with a antidote, Yu-ying escapes with Chan after learning his father’s intrigue, only to be hit by a pang of loss and agony upon Chan's reunion with senior master Lee Kei and Siu-chui, his betrothed fiancee. Instigated by Oh, Chan finds himself confronting members of the seven leading martial sects…

Her mind deluded by Elder Three Unsurpassed, Ng Yu-ying is about to surrender the captured Chan Lam to Oh Yu-kan and Ho Yim-wah when his senior master Lee Kei comes to save the day, warding off the conspirators. Restored to sanity by the antidote delivered by her mother, Ng bids a silent farewell and pleads to be made the protege of Black Raksha. With Fairy Crimson Pearl leading the way, Chan rescues Chung Siu-chui and Chor Ling imprisoned at the White-bone Sect and survives the bombings orchestrated by Oh but finds himself cornered by beguiled members of the seven leading martial sects. Ng dons a mask and teams up with 'Little God of Hades' to break the siege, pursuing their nemesis to the Fiery Fire Sect where Chan and cohorts finally eradicate Scholar Four Poisons and Oh, the latter confessing to the murder of Chan's father at his last breath. Ng wields the Raksha Order to avenge her father's death, perishing together with her mother.

The map is split into eight parts, placed separately in the custody of the eight leading martial sects. The children of the couple are adopted by Elderly Spirit from Hades and Nun Silence of Emei respectively. Growing up, the son Wan Tin-sau inherits from Hades all the skills he will need to know to take on the nun and her protegee in a duel 18 years later...

In the second part and conclusion to the story, the eight martial clans discover that there are two Sacred Fire weapons, Yin and Yang, and the siblings must uncover the facts of their parent's deaths in order to unite, wield the weapons, and defeat Nun Silence and her evil schemes.

The Diary of a Husband serves as an illustration for the arrival of the white-collar economy, in which the extended family is replaced by the smaller nuclear family. It is a story about four pals who work at the same office, which, like other white-collar workplaces, has become the men's primary site of life, where livings are made and friendships fostered. Meanwhile, their wives have fostered something of their own—a brigade to catch cheating husbands. Much comedy is then generated by the cat-and-mouse game between the men and the women...The battle line drawn here between the sexes remains for years, to the extent that this very same story has been retold many times in Hong Kong films, including Men Suddenly in Black, the 2003 Pang Ho-cheung film with a similar Chinese title.

Born with three eyes, Kam Wai-sang was abandoned in a Buddhist temple and later studies under the martial arts master Chong Yuk-ying. Wai-sang chances on the acrobat artist Wan Ming-chu, whose sickly mother requires the medical expertise of the chivalrous knight Kam Cheuk-hung. The ruffian Yau Ba-tin craves for Wan and abducts her masquerading as the knight. Wai-sang must rescue Ming-chu but mistakes and misunderstandings ensue. Can he save her, and her mother, before it is too late?

Scholar Yuen Man-lung leads a double life as Vigilante Golden Cat. Yuen is separated from his lover Tso Oi-lan by her snobbish father who promises her to Tsui Tai-fei, son of the magistrate and incriminates him as the wanted burglar. Yuen sneaks out of prison and wreaks havoc in Golden Cat's name; the exasperated magistrate has to release him. Before leaving for the imperial exams with the runaway Oi-lan, Yuen stages one final heist for his friend's sake. The officials trail Golden Cat to his house where his nocturnal costume is retrieved. His father is arrested as the criminal. Drawing a plan up her sleeves, Oi-lan's sister Oi-ling whisks the elder out of the execution ground. Despite failing at the exams presided over by corrupt examiners, Yuen saves the emperor on his homecoming journey, and returns triumphant as a duke.
