For a few months I investigated. I went to see sedentary people. I asked them to tell me about their life, about the schedule of their days. These are people who spend their lives at home. Whether they have to or not is not important. What matters here is how they cope with their lot what they do with it, don't do with it. How they find or do not find their salvation far from their neighbors.

As a newly arrived pianist starts rehearsing, her neighbor starts a sound war that very rapidly brings all the neighbors to their windows. While everyone shouts at each other, the pianist plays till she faints. When the police witness the crowd of hysterical neighbors shouting at each other, they take the side of the pianist, who, after a moment of intense madness, is now playing a serene Mozart piece.

Jocelyn is a selfish and misogynist businessman. He tries to seduce a young pretty woman by pretending to be handicapped, till the day he meets her sister, who is also in a wheelchair.

An adventure set in the early part of the 20th century, focused on a popular novelist and her dealings with would-be suitors, the cops, monsters, and other distractions.

Later, Rosalie emerges from her hidey hole and makes the brothers an unexpected offer...
