A journalist finally gets her first big break after she gets assigned to write a story on Roko, a young man whose been recieving death threats from the representatives of the local organized crime syndicates after his brother falls in major debt with them. She publishes the story, but this only increases the threats, leading to a harrowing tragedy.

Despite initially consenting and supporting her, Frane starts showing disapproval, initially through minor acts of sabotage. Over time, conflicts become more frequent, and arguments turn increasingly violent.

For the first time in his life, Miro (40) spends the night with a prostitute someone sent to him in a hotel after a business.

Branka is a young caretaker who has recently moved to an island to look after an elderly woman. After the harsh winter is over and her job is finished, Branka decides to stay on the island for the summer season. She gets a job in tourism, but the pay is meager and the job exhausting, making it just a temporary solution.

Two young nuns meet during a Catholic gathering in Croatia and fall in love. They live in two separate convents, but the spaces they once considered havens of solace and spiritual fulfillment turn out to be more earthly than expected. Disillusioned by the Church and the sexual and psychological abuse within, yet driven by blossoming love, they make the most difficult decision of their life - to leave the convent.
