Hasan has left behind his dark past to lead a happy family life with his wife and two daughters. One night, posing as law enforcement officers, a group abruptly takes him from his home, casting a shroud of dreadful uncertainty over the entire family.

A group of masked assailants storms the office of the country’s top television channel, taking the staff and a prominent minister, who was there for an interview, hostage. While the nation's law enforcement agencies race to uncover the identity of the mastermind behind the attack, the mastermind reveals himself live on the channel’s program, exposing the stories of ordinary people who have fallen victim to high-level corruption. Thus begins a rampage against the injustices of the system.

The story revolves around a man named Azad. In the midst of his post-divorce depression, Azad contemplates suicide but is saved by Shyama during a trip to the Sundarbans. Their connection leads to a tumultuous marriage where Azad becomes a victim of a family curse, seemingly affecting his sanity and trust in Shyama. However, a startling revelation by their mutual acquaintance, Osman, unveils the true nature of Azad's psychological torment.

At the hospital morgue, Baishakh discovers the dead body of his former lover Nohor. Baishakh steals Nohor’s body from the hospital and escapes, beginning a 24-hour journey of survival with her.

People suffer from depression at some point in their lives. How does that time go to them? 'Shobdo Prem' is based on the story of two people suffering from depression.

The film tells the story of the legendary 'Shadhin Bangla Football Team' founded during the 1971 Liberation War of Bangladesh. They played friendly matches across India to raise funds which would be used in the war. The film also portrays the personal lives of few players of the team and their struggle and losses during the war. Though the film is inspired by true events, it takes cinematic liberty and mixes fiction with reality as well.
