Kim and Maja, two physiotherapists who are friends, are planning to open a practice together. To finance their dream, they are working part-time at a hostess agency that offers jobs in the restaurant industry.

Catastrophic power outage in Berlin. Poorly maintained grids, greedy power companies and corrupt politicians are to blame. The result is riots and looting. Can senior engineer Anja Radke save the day? But then she comes under suspicion of being involved in the incidents.

Abeo is in her mid-20s and teaches German to foreigners. She herself has German and African roots, but grew up exclusively in Germany. Without contact to the African culture, she lacks any connection to this part of her origin. She tries to solve this inner conflict by extreme adaptation.
