The musical film tells the story of the birth of a new tradition - the popular music festival and its core idea - to create real Latvian Music Festivals for the audience, which celebrate the diverse multi-generational musical values created in Latvia.

A vengeful sorceress casts a kingdom’s princess into a deep sleep at the top of an icy mountain, where she awaits release from the spell that will destroy the land. Of all the men vying for the honor, the shy outcast son of a family of thugs is the most unlikely. New Year's musical based on the well-known story by Lewis Carroll. Alice runs away from reality into a fairy tale and finds her love there.

Mom sends her daughter to grandma's with pies and she meets a wolf on a forest path. However, the beast fails to deceive the girl. The heroes ride motorcycles, speak exclusively in youth slang, and the Wolf communicates with his "old rocker" dad via e-mail.

Tertiary student Vasia Vasylkov receives the keys to the museum of various arts for one night from the watchman. The main requirement is that all exhibits must be in their places in the morning. But the main character, of course, does not obey the watchman's instructions, so he plunges into a whirlwind of magical adventures, meeting ghosts, Casanova, Assol, Dracula, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo, Red Riding Hood, and Snow Queen.

The New Year's musical film has everything that Andersen described in his famous fairy tale "The Snow Queen", but with the attributes of the modern world. The Snow Queen is a powerful woman who charms the young man Kai and promises to make a pop star out of him.

The film is based on the complex intersections of human destinies during the Patriotic War. The family of the headmaster of the school, Turlyzhan Zhanakov, with their participation and care for disadvantaged people, show the high moral values inherent in Kazakhs. The house by the salt lake became a home for immigrants and evacuees and became a kind of Noah's Ark for the post-war future.

An unofficial sequel to the movie "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession". The events take place on New Year's Eve 1997-1998, 24 years after the events of the movie. According to the plot, the main characters (Shurik, Bunsha, Zina and Ulyana Andreyevna) are going to celebrate New Year's Eve, and the engineer Alexander Sergeyevich Timofeev (Shurik) decides to present his recreated (and modernized) time machine to the guests. Having gone to the XVI century, they find there an aged Georges Miloslavsky, who has been sitting as regent for 25 years instead of Ivan the Terrible, who has run away; the Tsar was so inspired by the profession of Zina and Yakin that he decided to try his hand at filmmaking and went to "Mosfilm" instead of the Tsar's chambers. In an effort to correct the disruption of the course of history, the heroes re-engage the time machine and travel back to the 1970s in search of the Tsar, who dreams of becoming an actor.
