Three different storylines are skillfully woven together offering three unique perspectives on the Deaf experience: a young Deaf woman struggles to connect with her hearing boyfriend; a Deaf man has an argument with his mother, complicated by an interpreter who wants to take sides; and a Deaf woman encounters barriers during a job interview despite her excellent qualifications. This nuanced film based on real-life experiences challenges viewers to think and engage in meaningful discussion.

Exploring womanhood, insanity, and friendship, our story unfolds with two close friends enjoying a whimsical, platonic bond at a quaint summer cottage. Amid sun-soaked days of leisure, their carefree world is disrupted when a boyfriend joins, leading to a performance of an age-old tale. Soon after, one friend descends into a haunting trance, exposing the pain of conforming to outdated female ideals.

A British folk singer is adrift and broken, a shadow of the folk singer that she partnered with as a young singing duo in Yorkville, Toronto. Now she is compelled to help him, and in doing so uncovers a revelation.

An overworked lawyer attempts to care for his partner while she descends into a climate crisis inspired, anxiety fuelled manic episode.
