Liva Wichfeld is preparing to take up the position as leader of the anti-abortion party Freedom and Responsibility. When she becomes pregnant, her personal and political convictions begin to waver.

On the first day at his new school, Mathias is given the worst possible homework: write an essay about yourself. The timid Mathias struggles to find the words. A minor identity crisis was not his idea of a good start. However, the essay is quickly put on hold, as he discovers that the deaf girl from school is spying on him.

One day, Ronja notices that she is being followed by an unknown woman. The experience sparks her interest, and she is instantly drawn towards the mystery surrounding the stranger and her actions. Being watched so closely cannot but make one feel special. To her regret, she is not the only one being followed by the woman.

The film deals with loss of innocence and the danger of exposed secrets.

The relationship and identity of a young lesbian girl is thrown into storm as she sees her girlfriend kissing a boy.
