East German Stasi officer Fritz travels to Cuba with orders to thwart a suspected CIA operation against Fidel Castro. In Havana he meets Lola, a young woman who will both endanger his mission, and change the course of his life dramatically.

Gustavo idolizes his older brother Paco and his punk, "Frikis" bandmates. When word reaches the Frikis of a potential reprieve from the effects of the economic crisis, they do the now unthinkable: deliberately inject themselves with HIV to live at a government-run treatment home. It's there that they create their own utopia to live and play music freely.

Three guys decide to rob a bank but everything goes terribly wrong. One of them owns a time machine and they try robbing the bank again but fail to do so. With the time machine they start traveling to the past trying to do it right. In the journey they encounter the butterfly effect and need to get everything back to how it was.
