A love story develops between the famous artist Abkar and the famous writer Murad Fahim. As Salwa takes the train to Alexandria, she runs into her old sweetheart whom she left for a wealthy man. As the train breaks down, they engage in a conversation that reveals so much about who they once were and how their lives took different courses.
