Mark, a man who commits perjury for his company in order to help his mother. However, he meets a mysterious person who threatens him and forces him to rob a bank. After the theft, the mysterious person continues to cause disasters to happen to Mark, which is when Mark vows to break free from this person's control and expose his or her true identity.

Those Were the Days... is a 2000 Hong Kong film directed by Raymond Yip. The film is a spin-off/prequel of the Young and Dangerous film series, as it follows the life of Chicken Chiu (Jordan Chan) before he joined the triads with the boss Chan Ho Nam (Ekin Cheng).

Wong Tat Lung was hunted down by the triads in Hong Kong twenty years ago and became a resident of the black market in Toronto, where he stayed for twenty years without an identity card. He joined a gang and made a lot of money by working as a black market gambler. He has not returned to Hong Kong for 20 years and has not fulfilled his fatherly duties. His daughter, Wong Siu Ming, hates him, but because she is entrusted by her late mother, she has to go to Toronto to see her father. In order to meet his daughter, Lung buys a big house and participates in a coke deal in order to give her some money, but the deal goes bad and is busted by the police. Lung even betrays Tony, a gangster, and is hunted down by him. When Lung meets his daughter for the first time, he is killed by Tony, but there is video evidence of Tony's murder. Tony then hunts down and kills Sau Ming and Lung's henchman, Fu Chai, and Fu Chai and Sau Ming are forced to flee for their lives and fight with Tony.

Sean Lau has been secretly in love with comely Vivian Chan since childhood, so when she needs a paper marriage to satisfy the wishes of her sick mother, he's a pushover. This doesn't sit too well with her naturalist boyfriend, who seems to like cockroaches more than her. And now the omens are against them: the day they've chosen for marriage is the very same one that Lau's strict aunt demands for his mother's funeral. So, this comedy goes back and forth between the two venues.

Siu-Man and Kar-Wai enroll into the university and hear a rumor that a female student disappeared five years ago, seemingly related to Chi-Ming, an introverted weirdo who has been on the campus for a long time.

Ann and her sister Betty live with May and Connie, who all work in real estate. Connie succumbs to pressure to be very nice to male clients, so to increase sales. Connie is also nice to nasty gangster Frankie, who fancies anything that moves, but particularly, Ann and Betty. There's also ex-rascal Tong, trying to keep out of trouble for the sake of his young daughter Wai. Kind-hearted Ann is good friends with them. Tong has a pal just out of jail, Chi. May is bored with her boyfriend, and leaves for Europe with another guy. Frankie tries dirty tricks to snare first Ann then Betty, and he involves Connie in a blackmail scheme. This results in innocent people getting killed, and a gory gun battle for revenge, which leaves only one of the story's characters alive at the end. The sequel, Body Lover, starts in the same scene as the finish of HK Eva.

Something like a jumbled, back-to-front version of Tai Chi Master and Fong Sai Yuk. Shifting focus on at least ten major characters makes whatever story there is hard to follow. But there's brother against brother, conflicts of loyalty, even disappointment in love. San (always good guy) is disappointed in his brother Kuang's (weak character) decision to join the Cult, and how the power has corrupted him. Chin Chen (good guy) resists his brother Chan's efforts to obtain the Classics. Chan tortures Chin by mistaking him for a pincushion then, with the help of his cranky but skilled old flame Hung and his daughter Tien, Chin trains San in the Classics, to fight Chan.
