An elderly inmate serving a life sentence awaits a lonely death in his solitary cell—until a voice calls out to him. It belongs to a balsam flower, Housenka, that speaks like a human. Through their "conversation", the old man begins to reflect on the life he's led.

The story centers on Kakeru Nishizawa and Mami Sakaniwa, two people who find each other through a dating app, and decide soon after to get engaged. After their engagement, Mami suddenly disappears. In trying to find her, Kakeru must confront a side of Mami's past that he might not have wanted to know.

To fight the first signs of dementia, the same illness that took the life of his beloved wife, 71-years old Kenji joins the Long and Healthy Life Club, where he befriends the eccentric Mr Hashimoto. In their quest to stay healthy, they decide to take a swimming class where they meet Kaori, a once-professional athlete turned swimming teacher. Like Kenji, Kaori struggles with the fact that she’s past her peak, but through the swimming lessons, they both find a new perspective on life.

"Marriage Counselor" is about an employee of a major real estate company who used to be a top salesman, but has become an annoying "Showa-era old man" because he can't keep up with the times. A story that struggles while causing trouble.

Ito Marika stars as the lead in this 2022 SP that tells the story of a group of friends, who run a food wagon serving sandwiches made with local produce, and their interactions with a farming family that they meet in Takasaki City in the Gunma Prefecture. TV Tokyo has teamed up with Takasaki City, Gunma in order to showcase a series of programs and dramas that are part of its efforts towards creating programs aimed at regional development in Japan. This will be its third production, following “Hatake Sono Manma Restaurant” in 2020 and “Nouka no Mikata” in 2021.
