Three sisters that had a tranquil life in a town suffer dramatic life changes at the end of WW2.

A local Romanian chieftain in 16th century Transylvania discovers a great treasure of Decebalus. He decides to send it for safekeeping in Moldavia, but he has to evade the Transylvanian prince and the king of Hungary, who get wind of it and want it for themselves.

In this cinematographic variety show, the strong point is the ballet: inventive, original, modern, pleasant, filmed with a great power of suggestion by the cinematographer Alexandru Întorsureanu, using superimpositions to enhance the movement.

Six widows demand compensation for the death of their husbands, who were killed during a worker's strike. The women are arrested and taken to the police quarters, where the authorities try to make them retract their statements, but it turns out they're not so easily intimidated.

Attorney Constantin Lipan (Geo Barton) is tasked to investigate the case of an oil magnate, Iordan Hagi-Iordan (George Calboreanu). This will put pressure on his superiors to drop the case. Based on "Calea Victoriei" novel by Cezar Petrescu.

In August 1944, when Hitler's troops were leaving the territory of Romania under the onslaught of the Soviet Army, German intelligence developed a plan under the code name "Round 6", the fulfillment of which was to destroy the oil industry. But as a result of a complex and dangerous struggle, the Romanian patriots managed to destroy the intrigues of the enemies.

Based on the novel "The Artist" by Francisca Munteanu. Romania in the 30s. A young talented artist Mihai Strihan, a student at the Academy of Painting, sees how fascism is poisoning the social life of the country. But Mihai does not want to get involved in politics and decides to engage only in painting. However, under the influence of friends fighting for the freedom of their homeland, Mihai realizes that he was wrong and becomes involved in a fierce political struggle against fascism.

The title translates as Fools of Bărăgan, in reference to a band of beleaguered feudal Rumanian peasants. But these are no fools: instead, they are fearless freedom fighters, organizing a brave (though foredoomed) revolt against the tyranny of the landowners. The parallels drawn between the people of Bărăgan and Russia's revolutionary leaders are all but impossible to miss. It would have been nice, however, if the story had not been told in such a heavy-handed, spell-it-all-out fashion.
