The first full Neal Morse & The Resonance gig took place on March 27th, 2025 in New Life Church, White House, TN (the recent venue for Morsefest USA). Ahead of their performance at the Cruise To The Edge Pre-Cruise party, the band played the full No Hill For A Climber album to an audience of friends and fans – plus as a bonus, the show ended with Wind At My Back. It’s an incredible performance for a debut gig and was specially filmed and edited by Chad Horner and team, and mixed by Nathan Martin as the 20th Anniversary Neal Morse Inner Circle release. Join Neal behind the scenes at Cruise To The Edge 2024. Neal was invited to Cruise to the Edge 2024 to play with Flying Colors. Join him and the band as they rehearse, get on board, and join the rest of the travelers. While on board, Neal also guested with some members of Spock’s Beard as part of Ryo Okumoto’s band, and took part in the first live performance by D’Virgilio, Morse & Jennings. He also jumps up with an All Star Band to play The Beatles’ Abbey Road Medley!

This time around we have the video and audio of Inner Circle show from Morsefest in London (well Brentwood!) in 2024! At Brentwood, we already had Ross Jennings along to do support on Friday evening and he also sang Supernatural during Testimony 2. So it seemed like a cool opportunity to have a 2/3 of D’Virgilio, Morse & Jennings set – we did two songs for the first time before a live audience, Julia and The Weary One! Of course I had my faithful friends Randy George, Bill Hubauer, Philip Martin, Julie Harrison and Amy Pippin join me – plus Francis Norman who played violin during the main shows came to join us to add a different element to the sounds. This special release includes performances of Testimony and Testimony 2 in their entirety, along with Spock’s Beard’s The Healing Colors of Sound—performed live for the first time by NMB! For this show, we kicked off with some Late Bloomer songs, as well as the rarely played song The Kind Of Heart, which is probably one that’s less well known as it’s from the Send The Fire album – I dropped this on Wil pretty last minute and he did a great job! Then I’m joined by the guys from The Resonance, and we have some intros to them before we talk through a playback of the title track from the album that was released that day: No Hill For A Climber.
