Road To Austin chronicles how Austin, Texas became the Live Music Capital of the World, dating from 1835 to present day. The film builds to a climax and weaves its way towards an all-star live performance led by Stephen Bruton and his 14-piece band.

This exciting performance was shot at The Grove in Anaheim, CA on May 3, 2006 and includes three bonus tracks "The Wind Cries Mary" "Song For George" and "Song For Lynette" from a 2004 acoustic guitar and piano performance at the Galaxie Theater in Santa Ana, CA.
