The film is about three men who rob a liquor store. They are all being investigated and pursued by the authorities – more or less justifiably – and find an original way to get money to pay their taxes. But it's one thing to steal 50,000 bottles of liquor, and quite another to get rid of them again.

Four men are gathered to play a game of bridge, when the conversation turns to unnatural and occult events.

Mountain climbing and its dangers get a different twist in this standard drama by Norwegian director Tancred Ibsen. This second version has the supposedly successful climber cast as an attempted murderer. The story behind the climb comes out in flashbacks as the Alpine Club reviews the accusation.

Turi is also celebrating her 25th anniversary and is Alexis' old flame and classmate, recently returned home from America after a failed marriage. The meeting between Turi and Alexis rekindles old love. During the days of September, Alexis is faced with the choice between his young and cheerful Susann and his great love from his school days. Merchant Lindby, Susann's father, also comes to Oslo to celebrate. He is celebrating his anniversary together with Turi and Alexis.

The film takes place in the idyllic town of Solsund. Per Haug, a temporary worker, bachelor, amateur painter and leader of the political opposition in the city council, lives there. One day he rushes home from a turbulent city council meeting and angrily paints a portrait of Mayor Abrahamsen.

Norwegian film's great charmer, Frank Robert, plays an associate professor and bachelor whose waking desire for life brings him to Paris, where he breaks free.

Petter and Kari meet, fall in love, and get married. But it's not easy for a young couple of limited means to find a place to live. Moving in with Petter's parents proves impossible, Kari can't endure her mother-in-law's constant interference. Trying to build a house of their own is halted by so much red tape, and affordable rentals is hard to come by. When Kari gets pregnant things doesn't get any easier.
