Eva is helping her friend Marija move out after a breakup, quietly hiding the fact that she’s going through a similar emotional struggle, until the pressure overwhelms her, leading to a panic attack and a visit to the hospital.

When Marco and his mother arrive at a refugee center full of children, women and old people, the boy meets two friends who explain that it is only a matter of time before the soldiers bring a shoe box full of the belongings of one of their fathers who died in the war. Once they settle in the center, one of the children reveals to Marco that the classroom they are in is cursed: death will visit those whose last name is on the door, and they will likely receive a box. Marco becomes obsessed with the sound of a military jeep carrying the dreaded box and devises a plan to outwit Death.

In the bar Freedom, three friends unsuccessfully try to come to an agreement, another two lifelong friends decide to express their sincere feelings to each other the same night, where the selling of a significant artifact takes place.

Eli has only two personality traits: she works as a security guard at the Modern Arts Museum and her only friend is her golden pet fish. The loneliness of the modern man, the secluded life as if living in a fish tank and the internal cry for freedom are the main leitmotifs of this short film.

Petra, who has made a life for herself in the big city has a crush on her office co-worker Igor and is trying hard to start a meaningful relationship. Her mother's visit from a provincial town in the south not only jeopardizes her efforts, but adds to the already palpable disconnect between the mother and daughter. But soon it will be New Year's Eve, and everybody is hoping for the best.
