Nagiko Tsuji

Tamon is an awkward 50-year-old rakugo comedian with no popularity, respect, or ambition. He struggles by, taking care of his father, who can no longer perform rakugo due to his steadily worsening dementia, and who does nothing but badmouths Tamon and calls him a disappointment. Kiko, a young female manzai comedian, ends up writing a skit based on one of Tamon's original stories she finds a recording of from her mother's cupboard. Kiko approaches Tamon initially for permission, then for advice. Tamon also reunites with his former girlfriend, Kiko's mother, and eventually ends up finding his passion in life and his art again.

Maki finds out that she is pregnant. She enjoys a gentle pregnancy, but one day, as the due date approaches, Maki is hospitalized. In the last summer of my twenties, a drinking party for three women who have been close friends since college. The girls, who are unable to become adults due to the impasse of youth, recall the days when they were young when they could dream freely and take a new step forward.

Yoshida, a former parliamentarian's secretary, took the fall for a murder in place of the trusted politician and ended up in prison. He awaited the day when the said politician would prove his innocence and get him released from prison. One day, while sharing a four-person cell, Machida was sent to solitary confinement for losing his temper. There were rumors within the prison that those sent to solitary confinement for punishment would mysteriously die and never return. However, Machida came back unharmed. Yet, the rumors continued, stating that returning from solitary confinement without a mysterious death was the real issue.

The story is set in Abashiri, Hokkaido, and follows a high school student, Nagi, who transferred from Osaka.

"Takehiko Kanroji, notorious for a man of power harassment, an executive officer of the publishing company "Yudansha" has been transferred from Nagoya to the Tokyo head office. His mission is starting a magazine. However, the theme is ""sweets"" that Kanroji hates most. Even so, he tries to tackle the given work with all his heart, but his subordinates fed up with his overbearing attitude.
