Tadao Sawamoto

Popular guitarist Shunsuke Sugi had a busy schedule and lived a puppet life with manager Yoko Ohara. On the way home from the Tohoku tour, he rescued Akiko, a girl who had passed out in a car accident. Ahead of him was the bustle of Tokyo. He suddenly met Akiko during a noisy party with friends. He tried to persuade Akiko, who wanted to become a singer, to return to the village, but it didn't work. One day he invited Akiko to play in Yokohama. When they returned to childhood and talked about their dreams, they felt love for the first time. Meanwhile, returning home, Yoko turned her jealousy on the two of them, and announced the death of Shunsuke's mother...

Adapted from the song " Tokyo Olympic Ondo " , which was the theme song for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics held in October 1964 . Song was composed by Masao Koga.

Satake Shoji had been a trapeze artist in the Ezaki Circus, but when Shingo, his team mate, slipped and fell to his death, he had felt responsible and, sick at heart, left the circus for a life at sea. On land again Shoji goes to a cabaret where he is soon involved in a brawl. Kasamatsu, the owner of the cabaret, impressed by Shoji's strength, offers him a job as his bodyguard. The next morning Shoji visits Shingo's grave and meets Miyako, Shingo's former sweetheart, who is still a trapeze performer and now the star of the Kuroko Circus which Shoji realizes Kasamatsu intends to control.
