Every love relationship goes through different phases – more precisely 7 Steps. The 7 Steps dictate the conditions for Elle’s entire existence. After a year of falling in love, traveling and romantic adventures where Elle and Josef have spent almost every waking minute together, Elle disappears without a trace. Josef takes up the search for her and tries to find the answer to what might have happened through the past.

A strange disease kills off some of the richest and most influential people on the planet. First it was the billionaires, then the multi-millionaires and so on progressively... Then it threatens to strike anyone with any sort of fortune. With the whole world panicking, people try to flood the market with assets the world no longer wants.

End of the 1960s. While on his way with his manager to the Cannes Film Festival, Jean-Marc Lancel, international film star, steps out on the road for a wee break. When he returns to the car, it has inexplicably disappeared.
