Antonio, a former shipyard worker, leads a mild and peaceful life: he plays bowls with friends, takes care of his elderly mother, has an ex-wife with whom he is on excellent terms and Emilia, his only and beloved daughter When Emilia announces to him one day that she has decided to get married, Antonio is filled with joy, he can finally fulfill his dream by giving her the reception they have always dreamed of together being able to count on the savings of a lifetime.However, the bank of which he has always been a client seems to be hiding something, the employees are suddenly elusive and the director inexplicably changes constantly.The task of paying for his daughter's wedding will prove increasingly difficult and Antonio will discover, against his will, that those who keep our treasures don't always keep our dreams as well.

In a Rome divided between the city center and the suburbs, rich and poor, famous and not, Alex, Gaia, and Marco are three friends in their early twenties who dream of escaping the future society has written for them. Street life, working at the market, poverty, small-time drug dealing, suburban tenements, and the dream of hip-hop are Alex's life until his dream comes true and he finds himself catapulted into the world of rap, playing his part and proving his worth. Managing his own destiny, however, isn't easy, and Alex makes many mistakes, leaving him alone, without a point of reference, and with fleeting success. He must then confront his demons, the harshness of the world, and his own confusion, to learn to love his anger and understand what he truly desires.

The sun rises over a quiet residential neighborhood. Three gunshots shatter the peace and quiet of the residents. Who fired the shots? And why was an African man targeted? The search for the culprit gradually reveals the dark side of a community where integration seemed to be working perfectly. Misunderstanding turns into xenophobia and rejection, indifference into hatred and violence. The darkest traits of each individual come to the surface. With the balance broken, will this community be able to hold on until sunset?
