Juan Benatti, a tango singer in a typical quartet, is left in charge of five-year-old Ignacio, the son of the group's director, Horacio, and Marisa, when his parents are forced into exile for political reasons. Ignacio calls Juan "grandfather" and becomes a father to him. Horacio dies abroad; his mother remarries and demands the boy. But since he doesn't get along with his mother's new partner, custody finally falls to Juan, who raises the boy until he graduates from high school. He then turns down university to become a musician in a rock group, where he will be the voice and host.

Two violators of the military service law are incorporated as soldiers recently arrived from Europe and proposed to integrate a group that will operate in a jungle region, for which they have to prepare for difficult survival missions.

Describes the internal life of a girls' school from families of strong economic position that traditionally, laziness or comfort transferred to various educational institutions responsible for the moral, intellectual, social and spiritual girls used to a life without problems, the most with terrible examples of marital relationship and behavior of their parents. Thus fall into emotional chaos, led to drugs, violence, prostitution and sexual deviations.

Two friends, both dating the daughters of the owners of a local club, meet two women who catch their eye and, as fate would have it, turn out to be friends of their girlfriends. To make matters worse, an election is about to be held at the club, further complicating matters with their future in-laws.

The authorities at an adult education center (called CACHADA) are about to receive an inspection that worries them. On the same plane as the inspector is a student with a similar last name, whom they mistake for the inspector. Meanwhile, the students are rehearsing musical numbers at night, having promised to perform at a club. This is discovered by the teachers and the inspector, who decide to punish their students. Furthermore, the school's benefactor, Amalita Fortaviene (a parody of the millionaire philanthropist Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat), arrives, bringing with her the Loma Blanca soccer team (a parody of Club Loma Negra, represented by their River Plate jerseys) to compete against CACHADA (who wear Boca Juniors jerseys). Winning this match is crucial for resolving all the entanglements presented in the film.

A girl arrives in Buenos Aires from Catamarca and fulfills her dream of being an actress.
