KING OF NEWARK 2 (2018) continues the trials and tribulations of the Malcolm Graves character (Alonzo Herran Jr.) from the feature films Living With No Regrets (2013), and King of Newark (2016). While serving as Mayor, Malcolm is now recovering from an assassination attempt. His personal and professional life now spiral out of control. His son Elijah wants to test his manhood and starts to follow the wrong crowd, but his new found friends have a hidden agenda. At the same time Malcolm's brother Drew tries to start a drug trade that ends up in a bloody mess with local mobsters. In addition, Malcolm's wife Miasha wants out of their loveless marriage. Malcolm is stuck between a rock and a hard place and is now forced to get his hands dirty again on the dark side of the streets. Will he survive this intense go-around or will he be the cause of his family and friends' demise, and maybe his own?

The movie is about a character named Malcolm Graves, an adult black man who was a Mayor's aide, running for Mayor of the great city of Newark and focusing on raising his pre­teen son. His past tries to come back and haunt him through his journey through adulthood, the heart aches, and the head aches that come with the difficult decisions in life when you are trying to stay on the right path. The movie illustrates consequences, both from right and wrong decisions, trust, loyalty, lies, violence and triumph. The movie is truly inspirational and focused on strength and overcoming the daily struggle of life.

A young Brooklyn based real estate mogul in the making unwittingly gambles his success, sanity, and the safety of his young child, when he falls for the wrong woman.

During this course of time, a young substitute teacher becomes assigned to a school where most of the children were wayward, going down the wrong paths, mostly due to no fault of their own. Many of these children were coming from dysfunctional homes, and going to school became recreation as an escape from their home life. School by most of them was not taken seriously, especially due to the inconsistency of their school day. Some joined gangs, became teen parents, and some fell victim to death in the streets. These children were attending schools where there was a daily shortage of teachers, not enough books, no heat, and some faced abuse at the hands of those that were supposed to educate them. The substitute teacher Ms. Stephens was able to convince many of these children that the circumstances of their past could not stop them for success in the future.

One weekend, Aunt Bam's nephew-in-law Stewart is granted a court-ordered visitation with his children. Although his new, much-younger wife Mona is a bundle of nerves, Stewart seizes the opportunity to reconnect with his children, whom he loves dearly. Then their mother, his ex-wife Gloria, shows up drunk. It will take Madea's partner-in-crime, Bam, to tame this situation and set a few things straight.
