In 2025, anti-Semitism is more widespread in Germany than at any time since the end of the Holocaust. Since October 7, 2023, the attack on Israel by Palestinian terrorists led by Hamas, the number of anti-Semitic crimes in Germany has doubled, and violence is increasing. This documentary follows Jews and asks how they are dealing with the rise of anti-Semitism. Three survivors of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp speak out, expressing their horror at the resurgence of anti-Semitism 80 years later. Likewise, survivors of the most recent massacre are receiving a voice, such as Tal Shamony, who studies in Berlin, and experiencing only hostility instead of support. Jewish student Lahav Shapira, whose grandfathers died during both the Holocaust and the 1972 Munich Olympic massacre, was brutally beaten by pro-Palestinian activists at the Free University of Berlin, a hotbed of anti-Semitism, simply because he advocated for the release of Israeli hostages. Yet politicians remain inactive.

After the brutal massacre by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Israel on October 7, 2023, the worst act of bloodshed against Jews since World War II, anti-Semitism has reached a new qualitative dimension worldwide, including in Germany: arson attacks on synagogues, Star of David markings on front doors, graffiti on Holocaust memorials, well-attended demonstrations with anti-Israel slogans and shouts of "get out of here" at German universities by supposedly left-wing extremists, whose blatant threatening gestures and threats of annihilation are more reminiscent of the views of their Nazi grandfathers. Where is the state taking consistent action against such hostilities and where is the loud protest from the middle of society? Is Jewish life still safe in Germany? The documentary film has followed four German Jews in their fight against hatred over the last three months since the massacre and lets them report on their experiences.

A pioneer in this matter is ARD Olympic expert Felix Neureuther, a former alpine skier, who sucked up the Olympic spirit with his mother's milk, because his parents are alpine ski legend Rosi Mittermaier, double gold medalist at the 1976 Winter Games in Innsbruck, and father Christian, a ski racer, who took part three times at the Olympics. Based on interviews with athletes, experts, IOC officials and persecuted Uyghurs, Felix gets a glimpse behind the scenes of the Olympic system.

Especially in Poland the youth are deeply divided, more and more are getting involved in conservative or nationalist right-wing organizations, while the country is slowly drifting into an anti-democratic dictatorship.
