A summer evening, a recently concluded rock concert, three strays in the dark of the night: an immigrant peddler with a valid residence permit expiring, an unemployed anarchist and Leila, a firefly without light. Their story is cut short by the senseless violence of two Nazi skins. But friendship continues to run in a yellow van, emblem of their freedom ... beyond darkness, beyond death.

Michele, Emanuele and Ornella. Three lives that cross for an existential void that they try to fill with addictions: some from drugs and from Botox, some from their mother and from the disastrous family context and those from their sexual impulses perhaps never really explicit. Each of these figures seeks their own place in the world by asking to be loved.

Inspired by a true story, the film begins with the arrest of a boy and a girl (Antonio and Elena) both in shock and stoned by a mix of drugs and alcohol. The two guys are admitted to hospital where they both confess the murder of their friend Angela. A brutal murder and devoid of logic that will lead investigators to suspect that the two killers were not alone. Investigators soon discover a reality completely unknown to them: that of Satanism.

Recovering from a severe nervous breakdown and a great fan of thriller films, twenty-two-year-old Niccolò decides to go to the cinema with his dearest friend Viola. They are joined by their friends Ambra, Valerio, Matteo and Clelia, with whom they go to the largest multiplex in their city, a place at the center of several sinister urban legends. When, at the end of the film, the group decides to spend the night inside the cinema to make fun of the maniacal and ambiguous guard, the six will find themselves grappling with a macabre secret.
