11th century Russia. Grand Prince Yaroslav the Wise betroths his favorite daughter Anne to Henry I, King of the Franks, and sends her across Europe to her future husband. It is here, in the Pamir Mountains, at an altitude of several thousand meters, far from civilization, that a person understands who they are. And receives what they deserve...

Vladik is spending his summer holidays with grandfather Yura again, when Viktor, a former diplomat and Vladik's grandfather by dad, suddenly appears in the village. He quickly finds a common language with the locals, gives his grandson expensive gifts and captivates him with stories about traveling around the world. Rivalry for the grandson's attention breaks out between the grandfathers - from caustic jokes to open confrontation. Grandfather Yura feels more and more that he is losing, but when a dangerous secret from Viktor's past comes to light, he has the opportunity to get rid of a competitor.

In the morning, all of Bezuglov's childhood wishes begin to come true and not only Pyotr himself is in danger, but also his family and, possibly, the whole world.

And remember: after the end credits, there is always a sequel... A story about intimacy, a mature breakup, and those strange moments when the end suddenly becomes the beginning.
