Seung-joo, an assistant documentary director, hopes to direct his own work, but leaves for Kazakhstan to assist in filming a traditional Korean-Kazakhstan wedding. When the local director Park Yu-ra gets in a car accident, Seung-joo and Young-tae, the cinematographer, miss the wedding they were set to film. To complete the documentary, Seung-joo is forced to stage a fake wedding ceremony in Yura's hometown of Saty Village with Young-tae and Yura's uncle Georgi.

Due to sudden deteriorating weather conditions, visibility on the Airport Bridge is severely impaired, leaving people stranded and at risk of the bridge collapsing due to a series of chain collisions and explosions. In August 1950, waiting for UN troops to arrive, the South Korean army assembled to protect Nakdong River. Only 71 student-soldiers are left behind to guard the city of Pohang. Now they are on a mission to defend the country from North Korean troops.

A small band of Korean soldiers is sent to patrol near a guard post and they find corpses scattered all over the area. They launch an investigation to find the truth behind the mystery.

A fisherman, Young-Chul, who lives on an island, arrives at a city in the hot summer to show a white shark to his friend, Joon-Goo. Joon-Goo who is busy gambling somewhere does not show up, and the shark in Young-Chul’s bag is going bad. Yoo-Soo, who Young-Chul ran into at a park is released from prison and wandering from street to street not knowing where he can find his house. A crazy woman, Eun-Suk praying for rain in the middle of the park under glaring sunshine starts to chase Young-Chul and Yoo-Soo. She thinks the stink of the rotting shark is her dead baby’s smell.

A former boxing prodigy, his loyal childhood friend, and a free-spirited but wounded young woman cross paths, forming a tangled trio of friendship, longing, and second chances.
