Kaori, the principal of Tanimoto Gakuen, a major player in the beauty industry, is aiming to expand into Shinjuku in order to make further progress. However, she is overtaken by the president of the Beauty Association and others. Then, a mysterious man, Segiyama, appears before her. He tells Kaori that he will take back the rights to the salon in Shinjuku in exchange for campaign expenses.

The story follows Misako Kitaoka, a junior college graduate and Nitto Lease sales department employee, as she grows through work, love, and friendship. For the sake of the company's managing director and his wife, Misako recommends her colleague Tensuke Sone to Fusako, the managing director's daughter and best friend. Fusako and Sone meet at the executive director's Karuizawa villa, but for some reason Kensuke becomes angry when he learns that Misako is the one who recommended him...

A young girl knows that she is going to die and in this she is supported by the devotion of the boy who loves her. They originally met at the hospital. There it transpired that the only way to save her life was to sacrifice an eye and part of her face. The operation seems a success. Later, however, her other eye becomes affected. She feels she must let the boy go, and yet she depends so much upon his devotion.
