Lucía hides her true past in order to rebuild her future. She lives in Puerto Rico and attends university with a group of friends, who often spend time at her favorite hangout, "The Scene Au Go-Go," run by Tres Patines.

When a Spaniard decides to illegally enter La Habana by swimming, two rogues help him to find work in a sugar mill, where the emigrant falls in love with the daughter of the owner of the cane plantation.

The owners of a bankrupt hotel come up with the idea of replacing all the hotel staff with pretty girls to attract customers. They manage to host a famous orchestra and other artists, leading to a series of comical incidents and plenty of musical numbers.
