Three intertwined stories follow Félicité, a young Sub-Saharan migrant at the Morocco-Spain border near Melilla. After her friend Sandrine’s tragic death, Félicité vows to honour her by returning to Tangier to earn money for a Christian burial. The second story centers on Hamid, an unscrupulous recruiter exploiting migrant workers, whose deceit ultimately costs him his job. Finally, Kenza, a wealthy young mother, hires Félicité as a nanny against her husband’s wishes, leading to escalating marital conflict that leaves Félicité facing despair.

2030. In response to climate migration, the government has set up a program to receive refugees. Imani, originally from the sunken island of Sao Tome and who is stateless and traumatized, is recognized as a climate refugee in Seine-Saint-Denis. She joins the Green Fugees program, which will enable her to obtain French nationality provided she overcomes her trauma: will she manage to swim again?

Amin has come from Senegal to work in France, leaving behind his wife Aïcha, and their three children. He leads a solitary life in France, where the only space he occupies is his home and the building sites on which he works. Most of his earnings are sent to Senegal. One day, he meets a woman, Gabrielle, and a relationship is born.

The 8-year-old Aida lives in an apartment in the Parisian suburb. The daily life of Aida and the whole family is overwhelmed when her father comes back from Senegal, their country of origin. Actually, he did not come back alone. He returned with the young Senegalese Rama whom he introduced as his second wife. Aida is very sensitive to her mother's distress. She decides then to get rid of the new visitor.
